Capital Gains Tax.

The report yesterday was embarrassing. They just don’t have a clue.

Do we really want to go from having no CGT to having the highest rate of capital gains tax in the world – that’s what they are proposing?

Rents would go through the roof, and who who pay, middle New Zealand as always. Why? Because rental subsidies would sky rocket paid for by the taxes of hard working kiwis.

Just like you can’t save yourself rich. You can’t tax people into wealth.

Hard working kiwis pay enough tax already. Give them a break.
